Positions come from Swiss Ephemeris fixtures. Derived techniques — aṣṭakavarga, yogas, kūṭas, ṣaḍbala — are diffed against Jagannātha Hora across seventeen charts, and the disagreements are published rather than smoothed over.

Aṣṭakūṭa’s total is shown as a footnote to its eight components, never as a headline percentage. Maṅgala doṣa arrives with its cancellations already computed beside it, because a doṣa reported without them is astrologically dishonest. A test in CI fails the build if verdict language appears on a relationship page.
What we withhold
There is no ṣaḍbala total, because two of its twenty sub-components are not yet reconciled and a total is only as good as its weakest part. The East Indian chart renders correctly as geometry but its regional sign arrangement could not be confirmed, so it does not ship. Two verified chart styles beat three where one is invented.

Questions
Lahiri (Chitrapakṣa) by default, with True Citrā, Raman, Krishnamurti, Yukteshwar, Fagan–Bradley, Sūrya Siddhānta and a custom value all selectable. Whichever you choose is stored with the chart and shown in the interface, so a chart can always say which frame produced it.
Your choice, set explicitly and persisted with the chart. Mean is the default because most Vedic software uses it. Position basis is separate and also explicit: apparent positions by default, or true geometric positions, which is what Jagannātha Hora computes — the two differ by up to 55 arcseconds.
Positions are verified against Swiss Ephemeris fixtures in continuous integration. Derived techniques are diffed against an independent implementation across seventeen charts, and where they disagree the disagreement is documented rather than hidden. Aṣṭakūṭa is verified against all 11,664 possible nakṣatra-pāda pairings.

The East Indian (Bengali) layout is deliberately not shipped: it renders correctly as geometry but the traditional sign arrangement could not be verified against a reference, and a plausible guess at a regional convention is worse than an honest absence.
No. Aṣṭakūṭa scores are shown as eight components with the rules that produced each one, never as a headline compatibility percentage. Maṅgala doṣa is reported together with its classical cancellations. Nothing in Jade returns a verdict, and nothing predicts death, disease or legal outcomes.
